Like the Common itself, folklore is a form of shared inheritance. Just as Wimbledon Common preserves habitats, wildlife and open space for collective use and enjoyment, Memories at Dusk seeks to preserve and reactivate the stories that have shaped our collective imagination. Drawing upon four Grimm fairy tales, the performance invites audiences to reconnect with folklore, memory and nostalgia, revealing these stories as a cultural commons that continues to belong to us all.
